Seddon Station General store

23 Pentland Parade, Seddon

Taken c.1950s, this is the site of the Seddon Station general store next door to the original Seddon Post Office, located on Pentland Parade, near Seddon train Station. As this was the original Seddon Post Office, the post office we now know on Victoria Street is actually the Seddon West Post Office.

This general store was a run for a time by local identity Keith O’Brien who sold lots of ice-creams and Spiders. It was more of a newsagents and lolly stop.
